It is staggering is it not that Christianity, a religion fully acquainted with the torture and suffering of the innocent, is itself complicit in the torture and suffering of the innocent. In the Gospel of Thomas Jesus sits firmly on the side of the animals. To harm any creature is to harm the Living One.
